Old Souls Meet Young Hearts

This intergenerational project allows Students and Volunteers to engage with seniors in the local community by running regular activities in their aged care facilities.

When: Wednesday & some Tuesdays

Where: Local Aged Care Facilities

Cost: Free

Time: 10.00am - 12.00pm & 1.00pm - 3.00pm (either or both)

Historical House & Garden Group

Come join us for a great day out exploring historical homes or beautiful gardens.

Where: Red Cow Farm (gardens)

School Holidays - Families @ the Farm - Fruit Picking

Come join us for a great day day of fruit picking and exploring farms. We will hopefully be picking citrus fruit depending on the farm and what they have.

Cirque Du Soleil - Luzia

Join us as we take you on a journey into the colorful and fantastical world of LUZIA, set in a make-believe Mexico, where you will be treated to stunning visual surprises and breathtaking acrobatic performances. LUZIA deftly guides you through the locations, people, and sounds of both classical and contemporary Mexico, taking you from urban locations like an old movie set and a smoke-filled dance hall to the beach and barren desert.

Pen Pals

We will be staring back up in 2025..

It is a great opportunity for students and a member of the community to connect through letter writing. You will be partnered up with a students in a local school and required to write one letter fortnightly. If you would like to be a part of the program please contact us on 9774 2426. Spaces are limited and we are hoping to start soon so please get in quick so you don't miss out.

Other Upcoming Activities in 2025

Fruit Picking

We try our best to make sure that we visit some of our local farms each year to do fruit picking.

April School Holidays we try to pick apples and Plums.

During June / July School Holidays we try to go picking Oranges, Mandarins and Cumquats.

 

Around December we try to organise a trip out to pick Peaches, Nectarines, Tomatoes, Eggplant an chillies as well as buying some fresh honey.
